FISH 4th of July

An incredibly busy 4th of July weekend. July 1, we presented a car to a sailor. July 2, we heard Col. Morgan sing God Bless America at the Kansas City Monarch’s Stadium and did amazing! July 3rd, the 15th Military Police Brigade played softball on the Monarch’s field before the game and the Monarch’s provided 140 tickets for our active duty military and their families. July 4th, FISH had the honor of attending the 4th of July event at Ft. Leavenworth. No better way to cap off Independance Day than to be surrounded by hundreds of our soldiers and their families to celebrate freedom. We hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July weekend as well…

FISH & American Legion Speaker Series

The 6th Annual Armed Forces Celebration lived up to the hype. Sadly, the Kansas winds prevented the Army’s Golden Knight Skydiving Team to perform, the KC-135 Refueler was not able to land and a few military helicopters were not able to attend due to the winds.

2 amazing men received services dogs and FISH surprised 2 wonderful ladies with mobility scooters that served our country, a Vietnam era Marine Lt. Col and a Cold War Marine. These life-changing moments made every ounce of energy exerted and time spent making this event happen worth it.
