Justin Leflar
Justin learned about serving others at a very young age from his father, a Vietnam era Navy Veteran. He began serving in the Boy Scouts and worked all the way through the Scouting ranks to achieve the rank of Eagle Scout. He knew he wanted to continue his service to others as an adult. After high school, Justin attended the Fire Academy at Johnson County Community College and then transferred to a college in Mississippi. While in Mississippi, he was a member of the local Volunteer Fire Department, gaining valuable knowledge of the fire service. Returning home, Justin was hired as a full-time Firefighter/Emergency Medical Technician with a mid-sized fire department in the Kansas City Metro area. Justin returned to school as a full-time student where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Baker University, then went on to complete his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Baker University. After graduation, Justin worked for a global Fortune 500 laboratory company, leading sales teams across the country.
Justin excels in team building and helping people, teams, and companies achieve their best results through integrity, hard work, and discipline. He carries these same principles to the board of directors at FISH, helping veterans and active-duty service members across the Midwest.
